The Imperial Boar offers a powerful melee attack with a lot of Stat-HP to back it up at an early level. One drawback may be that it must be in the front row to attack, as it only has a range of 1. Another drawback may also be its rather lengthy cooldown time of 2 turns, which can be quite vital in intense battles. Since it needs to be in the front row to attack it is also susceptible to being defeated and therefore needing to be healed, which along with the other Critters, requires a rare and valuable Resource-tooth. The Imperial Boar's biggest drawback is perhaps that though it might be useful at the level it becomes available (player level 15), the player might not actually be able to train one until much later, at which point all that health and damage does not help it survive on the front row.
